Election Projects

The League of Women Voters of Arlington is available to conduct elections for organizations, cooperatives, condominiums, clubs and the like in return for a contribution to the League.

The League is prepared to:
Attend the client's meeting at which the election takes place, count the results and deliver a report to the representative designated by the client, within a specified time;
or Receive ballots sent out to members by the client and tally the results, either in the League office or at a place the client designates, and deliver a report to the representative designated by the client;
or Mail prepared balloting materials to the client's list of eligible voters, receive the returns, tally the results and deliver a report to the representative designated by the client.

The contribution requested for any of these services will depend on the size of the election and the number of hours the League calculates the operation will take.
As a nonpartisan organization the League takes no position on the outcome of the client's election. We undertake to conduct community elections according to the client's bylaws and in as error-free and uniform a manner as possible. We offer security of election materials and accuracy of election results. In so doing, the League is the agent of the client, carrying out predetermined policy in a fair, honest and nonpartisan manner.
